Power of Attorney (HDB) - General

Completion of Online or Offline Form

If you wish to engage Loh Eben Ong & Partners to prepare your Power of Attorney, for your convenience, please may use our Online or Offline Services.

Please complete all particulars in our Online or Offline Form correctly and accurately. Incomplete Forms or Forms with errors will not be processed.

After submission, you may fax (6338 7678) or email us at  a copy of your Identity Card and / or your Attorney's Identity Card (optional). This is to ensure that there are no errors in the particulars submitted by you. Other arrangements may be accommodated.

Payment of Charge

For Execution of PA Overseas, after submission, please send us a cheque for the charges issued in our favour (Loh Eben Ong & Partners). We require the payment prior to processing your application or sending the PA to you at the country of your stay.  All payments made are non-refundable.  

For Execution of PA in Singapore, payment of our charges can be made when you attend at our office to sign the Power of Attorney.

Processing Time

Please allow us about 2 to 4 working days to process your application. If you require the PA urgently, please inform us when you submit your application or contact Annie at (65) 6338 1810.

We do not however warrant or guarantee whatsoever that we will prepare the Power of Attorney within any time period or at all.

Signing of Power of Attorney

For Execution of Power of Attorney in Singapore, when the Power of Attorney is ready for your execution, we will email or contact you to attend at our office by prior appointment to sign the PA in the presence of our solicitor. Alternatively, please contact Annie at (65) 6338 1810 to arrange for an appointment. You have to bring your Identity Card when attending at our office.

For Execution of PA Overseas, we will send the Power of Attorney in accordance with the "mode of delivery" selected by you for your execution after receipt of your payment of our charges. After you have duly signed the Power of Attorney before a Notary Public or a Singapore Consulate Officer, please return the PA to our office to enable us to deposit a copy of the same at the Supreme Court of Singapore and to write a letter of confirmation to HDB.

Collection

Once the Power of Attorney is duly deposited at the Supreme Court, we will send the original Power of Attorney in accordance with the "mode of collection" selected by you. Please allow at least 7 working days from the date of your execution of Power of Attorney at our office or our receipt of your Power of Attorneyfrom overseas to deposit a copy of the Power of Attorney with the Supreme Court and thereafter, release the original Power of Attorney to you. We do not however warrant or guarantee whatsoever that we will release the original Power of Attorney within any time period.
